I’m glad that women are now able to be enlisted in combat roles within the military.But i do wanna express my opinion on a 2 things that i fear is going to happen cause of this.This is my list of what i’m afraid is going to likely happen. 

• Sexual harassment/ Sexist remarks
• Unequal treatment during training

Sexual harassment/ sexism
 There is a lot of cases of rape and sexual harassment in the military and i believe the percentage of sexual assault will rise due to women entering combat roles.It makes me sick knowing that this already occurs and it saddens me to know that women will have to realize that they may get killed in action at war by the enemy and at the very same time, may become a victim of sexual assault by fellow service members.Yes, the chances of being sexually assaulted is slim but this percentage of this occurring will definitely rise with more combat jobs being opened to women and that is a factor the military has to be aware of.There will be more sexism as well.A big chunk of men in the military have the ‘women should be in the kitchen’ attitude and this is something that must be changed.Unit conflict can affect mission accomplishment and that is a big no for the military.The mission of the military is to fight and win wars and any threat to mission accomplishment should be demolished.

Unfair treatment during training  
 Lets be honest here, a lot of men get pussy whooped by merely talking to a girl and this can result in devastating actions. The role of a grunt is tough. They are the force that wins battles and wins wars and we’ve been winning wars for 200 some odd years now so the way we train grunts can not be changed! Grunts have a mission accomplishment first, troop welfare second type of attitude and i’m afraid  nco’s and snco’s will not be able to instill this attitude to women because they may try to flirt with them and as a result,may give them less stress and less work compared to the average male grunt and therefore, not giving proper training to females.If any females do not receive the proper training, this may lead a grunt getting killed and that is a big fucking no! If any female should become a grunt, she should be treated the same as the male grunt,nothing more and nothing less.They need the ass chewings,the stupid fucking buddy rushes, and everything else that makes being a grunt a tough job,no exceptions what so ever! 

In conclusion, I am happy that women can now be in combat roles.Serving your country is one the greatest things one can accomplish and i am glad women are now able to fight in the frontlines. This is a big step in society and another step to eliminating discrimination.As long as we do not treat the female grunt any differently then we would then a male grunt, then we should be ok. And who knows, maybe i’ll live to see the first female Medal of Honor Recipient. 

Is what i got.My lips get cold sores 2 or 3 times a year, every year since i can remember.I usually get them in the winter and summer when its super cold and hot.What sucks more about it is that it usually last about 2 weeks or so to go away so during that time, i will not hook up with anybody guaranteed! At least this year im actually using a lip ointment to make it go away faster.

Slept in camp pendleton last night but my dumbass only brought one sleeping bag and no warming layer clothings for my legs cause i thought it was gunna be that cold at night.Come to find out, im cold as shit cause the tempature was at 28- 30 degrees,i only have a sweater underneath my cammie blouse, and only one sleeping bag.Woke up to snow/ice on my main pack and flak jacket.As a matter of fact,everybodys pack and flak jackets had snow on them. The water froze and i only slept for 30 minutes last night.All i can say is im just glad im not in afghanistan right now.Ive got nothing but mad respect for the Marines and other military servicemembers out there right now,in the cold, fighting the good fight. Semper fi.

Marines are stubborn from experience. People always want us to quit whenever we are attempting to achieve something but what people do not know is that Marines have learned in boot camp not to quit in anything. Quitting at something, no matter how small the task, compromises mission accomplishment and may put many people’s life in danger and that is a big no no in our Corps. We have been FORCED to do the most outrages,difficult, extraordinary tasks that we thought we would never accomplish, but yet we accomplished that task. As a result of being forced to accomplish some extraordinary task, Marines begin to develop pride and self confidence that it literally changes our behavior. We develop so much self confidence that we begin to realize that we are capable of accomplishing whatever we put our minds into. That can be range from something small such as breaking down a wall withing a certain time limit to a something much larger such as creating your own company.This is an epiphany and self realization that many people in this world do not have and this is the reason why people believe Marines are so stubborn. You have not realized your full potential and whenever you see a Marines in the act of attempting to achieve something, you try to put them down for your own self ego. Perception is reality and you perceive something by trying to break it down with your own self experiences and that is the problem. You have not gone through a typical Marines experience in their service so therefore you can not understand the perseverance that the typical Marines have. Marines are not stubborn, you just cant compare yourself with their perseverance.

I was in boot camp sleeping away. Revellie is called and drills instructors come in the squad bay and wake everybody up.Recruits begin to count off and i am still sleeping away in my bed.When it got close to me, i jumped out of my bed and joined the rest of my platoon.

That was the first time i have ever skated in the Marine Corps.I don’t usually skate at drill ( weekend warrior baby!) but i do it from time to time when it i go out to the field to shoot some arty.

Why so many miles and that deadline!? For the celebration of the Marine Corps birthday of course. If i did my math right, in which i probably didn’t cause i suck at math, that is about 1.5 miles every monday, wednesday, and friday. I should be done before the 10th though but i might just wing it so i can end it on the tenth.That way it feels more official and shit. This may be a little motto but oh well, fuck it. I love my Corps and the good side is it helps my fitness and shit. Tootaloo motherfuckas! 

If you don’t see another human being as an equal person to yourself, no matter what circumstance they are in, then fuck you. You are not somebody special in this world so don’t degrade someone else cause they’re a different race, religion, or a handicapped person. So fuck you, cause people like you is the reason why we have so much segregation in this planet. You are equal as every other living body in this world and that is a fact.

So of course i always no mayo whenever i buy hamburgers at my local hamburger selling shop. So i order a jr. bacon cheeseburger, with no mayo of course. As i begin to eat this deliciousness of a cheeseburger with bacon, i taste mayo.i want you to know that because of the sweet,god giving taste of bacon, i did not taste the mayo until i was almost done with the burger and the bacon was all gone.I was not gunna throw the food to waste so i ate it with mayo.Like i said before, i hate mayo. But my point of this stupid rant is that bacon is so good, it can cancel all other nasty tastes within a fine burger like that of the jr. bacon cheeseburger.Thank you, creator of all life, for creating bacon!

I just have to. Every morning when i wake up, I make coffee, go on facebook and then tumblr, and then i clean my house.I do this everyday. 

p.s- i also got a haircut last night that i haven’t had in 3 years.I got a line up and a taper.I felt weird but i still look pretty attractive. ( or awesome as fuck! ) Hope my lovely followers are also having a great day. But remember, if you drive, dont drink. If you drink, dont drive.
